Project to convert obsolete VB 6 application (thick client with Oracle DB server) to ASP.Net Application. Technology details:ASP.NET C# Application. Windows Forms controls was developed for extensive interaction on client side (like using Excel automation on the client, using complex datagrids). Part of modules using existing Oracle database, part of modules are using data transferred to MS SQL Server.
Log4Net and NHibernate libraries were used.

This web based application (runs on the internet) allows you to keep all your favorite web links (bookmarks), event calendar, wheather forcast etc in one location and be able to access them from any computer (worldwide) that is connected to the internet. It uses lightweight UI to concenrate on data you store.
Technology details: ASP.Net appliaction using MS SQL database, WebParts technologies, consuming wheather forcast SOAP API.

"MY QSL Service".

This is a web based application program to let amateur radio operators exchange their QSL cards worldwide via the internet.
Hams can upload their cards as an image (jpg) to the server. Other hams can log
on to the server and view any cards waiting for them. Then that user can
download the "cards" of their choice to their computer.
